Music Video Technical specifications
As a broadcaster we need to ensure the highest possible quality of content for our viewers. So when supplying your music video you need to ensure that both the imagery and audio are clear of any issues, disortion or glitches.
Capture settings
Imagery
The setting for your camera will always vary depending on lighting conditions and movement to be captured. The underlying element to take note is that the camera will need to be set to the highest bitrate 1080p setting to achieve the best quality.
Audio
Always capture the audio through the mixing desk when possible in the least compressed format. Audio captured through the camera should also be set to the lowest compression.
Settings examples:
Blackmagic Design Preset
Uncompressed 10-bit 4:2:2 1080p25
Canon 5D MKiii DSLR Preset
DSLR 1920x1080 progressive 25fps IPB
